I am curious how a Daniel sort of situation played out that Stephen was almost turned by Wulfe but Marsillia turned him.Īnyhoo.
He created a “family” of friends but was mistaken on Bonarata’s character, and man did that bite him in the behind Left to his own devices, we learn Wulfe was a healer and collector of art-from masterpieces to art by children. She also stated that he was created as part of some sick experiment, white witch, wizard, fae and finally, vampire, so Bonarata was not the first to torture him either (can you imagine what his master vampire must have made him do!?).
I know that Mercy is wary that any vampire can be good, but I did a reread of Gray in the Shifting Shadows-that’s a vampire we see from a non-Mercy POV who is not evil.ĭespite the centuries that Bonarata tortured him, he continues to be a white witch. I really, really, really like and trust Wulfe.
